  2. the images and concept are very strong. The last image though appears to be out of place in comparison to your other two. the reason for it feeling out of place is that the other two are very red heavy and the last one doesn't show any type of this emotionally effective color.

  3. I love these! The concept, the imagery, and the composition are so great. The colors in the first one are very nice, you used some great filters, and the third one, at first, I did not like, but once you explained the ideas behind it, it worked for me. Despite what others said about your car not being a place, I think you made it one.

  4. Wow, terrifying! Great job taking this everyday place and changing our expectations. In terms of composition, these are very strong; they all evoke panic as you intended with color, strong angles. The last image even makes me feel dizzy. Concepts of mortality are very visually clear. Great job!

  5. Hellooooo!

I like your concept of using a car as a place, since it is personal. I also like that you chose to view it as something you can control. I feel that through your images you conveyed your concepts of false security. They evoke emotions that can be portrayed through cars and the things that happen to them.

  6. The concept is very strong as well as the visual aspects each image has. I'm really impressed especially since you said you were having issues earlier!

I like that you took on the task of making your car a place! It was very unconventional! I think the third one is one that grows on you!

  7. you have a dynamic point of view in these pictures. The color choices provide a wonderful reinforcement of your concept. It causes great anxiety. Your statement on control, or the lack of it, is true. You are only as safe as the drivers around you.

  8. I feel like you did good working with what you had. To maybe emphasize the space itself more it may have been helpful to show the interior of the car more in the photographs. However, the conceptual matter of these is very strong. I admit that I didn't understand a lot of it without explanation but I still can tell a lot of thought and composition went into it and I like the message.

  9. So far you've been the only one to overlay images using transparencies, and I think that technique relates well to your idea of hazard, to the false sense of safety one feels inside of a vehicle. Each image has a strong sense of dizziness, panic, etc that also relates to your concept. Your second image, while visually interesting, could use more of the car element, because without context it's difficult to tell that the point of view is from within a vehicle.

  10. I am really impressed by the way you used the space of your car to present your concept in such different ways. I think that the most powerful image is the one that includes the car on fire outside the window. However, I also really like how you said you use the tree branches to represent veins and the fragility of humans! The last photo could use some work, I think. I don't really connect to it as much as I do the other two.

  11. I really like the photo set and concept as a whole. The details are what really stick out too; the "veins" of the tree and light in the car that looks like sirens are great hints for what is to come and the dangers. Very well done and great place!
